Today, something happened in the theatre that left every one of us speechless.

A young radiant woman, trembling and hopeful, was wheeled in for her elective Caesarean section.

Her file told a story most people will never fully understand.

IVF pregnancy.
Twin gestation.
11 years of infertility.

Eleven years of waiting.
Eleven years of negative pregnancy tests.
Eleven years of prayers whispered into pillows at night.
Eleven years of watching other people carry the blessings she longed for.

Then finally…

Two heartbeats appeared on the scan.

Twins.

The day she had dreamed about for more than a decade had finally arrived.

The theatre was calm.

The first baby came out.

A boy.

The second baby followed.

Another boy.

The room relaxed.

Everyone smiled behind their masks.

After all she had been through, this felt like the perfect ending.

Then something changed.

The surgeon suddenly stopped.

The atmosphere shifted.

He looked again.

Then he said words that made every person in that theatre freeze.

“Wait… that’s not the placenta.”

Silence.

The anesthetist looked up.
The nurses exchanged glances.
Nobody spoke.

For a few seconds, all we could hear were the monitors.

Then…

A cry.

Another cry.

A baby cry.

The entire theatre erupted.

There was a third baby.

A little girl.

The scan said twins.

The womb said triplets.

After 11 years of infertility, she didn’t just receive a blessing.

She received more than she asked for.

Two boys.
One girl.

The mother kept repeating the same words through tears:

“Three babies?
You mean three babies?”

And honestly, many of us were fighting back tears ourselves.

Because in that moment, the operating theatre no longer felt like just another hospital room.

It felt like a reminder that sometimes life delivers surprises no scan can predict.

To every woman still waiting, praying, believing, and hoping…

Your story is not over.

Some blessings take longer because they arrive carrying more than you expected.

This evening, I was at Ikeja with my car rewire guy and I witnessed firsthand how all the mechanics apprentices in that big yard kept warning each other off some cars. “Don’t open that car, mosquitoes will enter”. I was wondering, if mosquitoes enter nko, what will happen?

Then they made me realize they all sleep in different cars everyday and only go home at the end of the year except there’s an emergency at home. Like, that’s where they live.

I nearly ran mad. Are you joking? You need to see how they guide their cars like it’s their mini home. Realizing where they all came from, it’s almost impossible to go home everyday due to cost and who will rent apartment for you in Ikeja? They took turns narrating all the styles they use to sleep. Imagine the inconvenience sitting to sleep everyday and they somehow still send money home.

Kenneth Okonkwo who is supposed to be a lawyer and a member of ADC claimed he got an information that aspirants in NDC which he’s not a member of were asked to pay 10 million naira, he didn’t verify whatever he was told and ran to a TV station to say Peter Obi who is also an aspirant in NDC asked people to pay the said money.

The person he claimed told him about the said payment has since distanced himself from the gossip.

A lawyer who doesn’t understand how damaging defamation is to a person or too stupid to care, he was probably hoping Peter Obi will ignore as usual but he’s been slammed with a 5bn lawsuit. I hope his lawyer has a good lawyer.

I bear this scar and pain for Jesus. This is the mark that I left darkness into light.

Although, after many surgeries, the medical complications are still there, but I will never go back from following Jesus.

I was in a church sharing my salvation experience, and after I have preached and about 300 hundred gave their lives to Christ, as I was coming out of the church, some people shouted, Pastor we need your help.

Unknown to me, they were angry Muslim who were bittɛred because of a growing number of people who are leaving Islam in my community in Gambia because of my testimony.

As I looked back, one of them poured a bucked of acid on my face, as I turned the other side, another one poured another bucket of acid and they were shouting:

"Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar".

My eyes were affected but not totally blinded. I am joyfully bearing the scars and the pain. That is the price I have to pay in following Jesus.

Brethren stood by me, they prayed for me, they took care of me. There is love in Jesus.

Please 🙏 pray that the Lord will heal my pains completely. Pray for my faith not to shake.

Although, they are still threatening me, but there is no going back from following Jesus.

Exponential increase in revenue with excessive borrowing: Yet more hardship for Nigerians!

In celebrating three years of his administration, President Bola Tinubu included, among his achievements, an increase in revenue from N16.8 trillion in 2022 to N35 trillion in 2025. An increase of over 100%.

Shockingly, while Nigerians expected a reduction in borrowing with the exponential increase in revenue, the opposite is the case. In just three years, President Bola Tinubu’s government seems to be obsessed with excessive and imprudent borrowing, with our total debt currently about N200 trillion—a deeply disturbing increase of over N100 trillion.

In addition to the exponential increases in both revenue and debt, it is also important to note that Nigeria has earned far more than the budget revenue targets due to global and regional geoeconomic and political tensions.

Alarmingly, even with the astronomical increase in both revenue and debt, almost all key socio-economic and governance indicators are worse than in 2023. Multi-dimensional poverty has increased from 87 million people in 2023 to over 140 million people in 2025. Rapidly increasing unemployment and a decline in GDP per capita from $1,597 in 2023 to $1,223 in 2025, and the list goes on.

Just more and more hardship for Nigerians! The question Nigerians and even the international community are asking is, “Where did all the money go?”

Nigerians deserve a detailed and transparent explanation of what happened to our economy and financial resources since 2023, and a stop to the imprudent, unaccountable, and opaque management of our common patrimony.

A new and productive Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO
