I'm not the type of guy who likes to build much with my hands, but if you want to talk about startups, diversity in tech, hip-hop culture, collecting vinyl, coffee, or sneakers, we can be friends.
How do men make new pals? In a growing international movement, guys are gathering at sheds to build projects together. “We’re just doing something together and we become friends." https://t.co/nOJDZw2nIe
@CrookedIntriago Nah. I just want them to keep dropping dope music. I likely still follow them on other social media so they can skip Twitter completely.
The Austin Record Convention is May 6th and 7th at the Palmer Events Center. Waterloo Records will be at the convention this year with some really cool collectibles and new and used vinyl! Hand-picked by our knowledgeable staff. Tickets at https://t.co/DwRdNgZaMA
Oops. Was just about to go online for tickets when I realized this was a tweet by @IFCCenter , not @austinfilm . I guess both cities will always be home, and my brain sometimes can't tell the difference. Ha!
What if you had a second chance with the one that got away?💕
Don't miss your window to see Richard Linklater's Before trilogy on the big screen.

@checktherhyme1_ I'm somewhere between 40 - 50 with streaming. Maybe a little higher when you add in vinyl, but I've mostly only bought older releases so far this year. I'm probably also a little over a dozen full albums that aren't new releases but are new to me.
@rapmusicplugpod NY Times article said they had to clear over 100 samples before they could release anything. A few didn't get cleared or were too expensive, so they made a couple of minor changes that might not even be too noticeable. ( Or super obvious to day one fans. )
Sequencing is my favorite part of putting albums together. The flow, the cohesion, the ups and downs, the cinema… does that type of stuff still matter to the listeners? Or do you just want a playlist?
@cahouser I just said something similar to this to a couple of the managers on my team. I'm trying to encourage them to flail around, even if it means the occasional failure. Learning from experience is a good thing, even if my HBR subscription expired a long time ago. 🙂
