Toronto Today Podcast - February 20th
2nd segment in - I speak about the murders of the Bibas family, & the depraved & gross ceremony celebrating their killings (a baby/a toddler/a mother) - loud music, lots of smiles, an all-out party by a terrorist group & the Gaza residents who came out to support this monstrous exhibit.
Loud music, food, dancing, tons of smiles. Again, "depraved" doesn't cover it quite well enough.
Starts at 6:17 - We have two sons. And at one point, we had a baby & a toddler, & a mom who was everything (still is) to them. It's unreal what I saw today, & you should know about it, & not forget either. Thank you.

Here's what we know about the Amsterdam pogrom:
➡️Around 3,000 Israeli fans of Maccabi Tel Aviv flew to Amsterdam to watch a game against AFC Ajax.
➡️ An ambush was waiting for them at various points outside the stadium and around the city as they returned by train from the game.
➡️ Footage circulating on social media shows fans being beaten and chased with knives.
➡️ Dutch authorities say 10 Israelis were injured and they have lost contact with two individuals.
➡️ About 57 suspects have reportedly been arrested. ➡️ Israel has dispatched two rescue planes to bring Israelis home.
➡️ The situation is still ongoing with hundreds of Israelis being instructed to lock themselves in hotel rooms and not go outside.

It's in LA, & not in Toronto...but I AM going to talk about this tomorrow....
Our civility towards each other has been on a downswing for a long time....but it's been SO telling for 8 months now....those who will criticize horrific scenes of violence & abuse on the streets where WE live....and who will just go and go and go about what's happening in Gaza.....
I have ALL day for holding both sides in a brutal war to be responsible when battle gives way to unquestionable brutality and cruelty. Of course, so few of them said anything about Syria....or would take to the streets about Saddam gassing the Kurds, or the sheer volume of innocents burned & murdered in the Yemeni Civil War - it's just no fun for so many of our masked-and-chanting cohabitants, when Jewish people are bystanders & not involved in the binary stupidity of "colonizer/colonized", "oppressor/oppressed"...
But I've seen this video from 3-4 different angles & phones....it's BRUTAL, and it's HERE.
And who's to say this won't happen in Toronto, or where you live next weekend or the weekend after?
For the people for whom this was never, ever about Gaza or the plight of the Palestinians, most of our politicians & law enforcement put out the welcome mat for abuse, antisemitism, threats, and, the main course, actual violence.
There's little those who did that can do to redeem themselves, so if they are truly irredeemable, it's important to say so, and know so.
More tomorrow... @am640
