NEWS: Former Auburn Staffer Accused of Leaking Info To Opponents
• Former Auburn personnel staffer, David Jenrath (24), has been arrested.
• He is charged with theft of trade secrets and computer tampering.
• Authorities allege Jenrath accessed confidential Auburn Athletics information and shared it with opposing programs.
• Jenrath worked in Auburn’s personnel department from January–June 2026, helping with recruiting, scouting and personnel databases.
• His profile currently identifies him as an Applied Artificial Intelligence/Sports Analytics student at the University of Tennessee. Auburn plays the Vols this Saturday.
• Police have not publicly identified which programs allegedly received the information. Jenrath has not been convicted, and the charges remain allegations.
