As part of Maths week we had another visit from @jonriddledevlin @StrathMathStat.
S1 learned about network theory, working on some university level mathematics while some S2 &S4 pupils performed experiments showing how maths is used to model the way infectious diseases spread!

Following a stop at Metrocentre for a spot of shopping and lunch our group then had a tour of @NUFC St James’ Park. Great experience for our pupils thanks to our knowledgable tour guides.

A positive start to the day with a training session at @sunderlandfc @StadiumOfLight where our pupils did us proud.

We even managed to catch some of the @alliedmobility Wheelchair Rugby 5s. Inspirational to say the least ☺️

Well done to our very own Norrie Brown who was presented the National Torchbearer award in London this week. This is in recognition of his outstanding work on the Duke of Edinburgh programme over many years at Auchenharvie. Well deserved Norrie, a real hero in our community. 👍
