@shopperbarbie48 Ex-RAF. Allowed to change ONE sheet, out of two, per week. Pre duvet days, though I still use a top sheet anyway. Depends what you wear, and do, in bed. Ha ha.
@BBCWomansHour@Emmabarnett How can a bus be designed so badly (don't tell me - men!!). I'm the same height. Why can't the bus manufacturer modify the cab? Disgraceful response from bus company. Blame the person.
@Haggis_UK@susannareid100 Hardly ever get cold weather payments, despite living 300m up in Pennines, as linked to weather station some miles away, much less cold. Must be below zero for 7 successive days. Doubt 4mil actually GET it, another dodgy statement.
@muggedbyBrexit@abi_carey FFP3 offers the highest level of filtration. FFP2 are a bit less protective, and FFP1 even less. All come valved or unvalved. Higher filtration makes breathing more tiring, so FFP3s tend to be valved more to let exhaled air out easier. For covid, valves are not ok. See 3M range.
@muggedbyBrexit@abi_carey Ffp3 are available without exhalation valves (3M do at least one), I think more now. It was a big error originally in the pandemic, saw hospitals advocating ffp3 WITH valves.
@JurajMikurcik @lloydalter Quite glad I did not invest Β£15000 in ASHP with plumbing & pipework. All electrics out for 4 days (lucky compared to some) from storm Arwen. Woodburner saved the day. If all electric, need powerwall batteries.
@GreenPartyMolly I'm 68, mum is 87, neither have had any call, but now self-booked for 16th Dec.
Queried why all mum friends boostered 3 - 4 weeks ago, told " We've run out." Not the answer to the question . .
@metoffice Hi Josh. Forgot to say!!! HX78RE. thermo gun was reading -10 on 6" snow, but couldn't believe that, although inside at 7 verified. (Power cut). At 0200 checked again was warmer -5. Is now zero - balmy! Still no power. Weird that.
