@kelmdm @bokutosayswhaat My theory is that if it’s GOOD fanfic, you can’t strip it of the IP and push it to publish, so only bad fan fiction gets published. Like…if the fic author really captured the personality of the characters in their adaptation, strip-mining it will destroy it.

He’s so self obsessed, yet self-deprecating at the same time that it’s hard to hate him, even though he IS an unrepentant asshole 2/2

@joyfuIreunion @WtDasoiaf I kinda think it’s just as sad. The second book is all about Lestat’s loneliness and longing for a companion, leading him to find Louis. I remember it (granted, it was 30 years ago) as being very sad. Equally, The Queen of the Damned was also pretty sad…1/2
