7 years ago when you started chooking broom inside your private part and posting on twitter, we criticised you and asked you to stop. Your own father knelt down to beg you and your mother was hospitalised because of heart attack due to shame.

One of the main things Chief Obafemi Awolowo and Chief Awokoya wanted for the western Region was quality education.
That quality education was what caused initial prosperity in formal and informal sector. From traders to farmers to office workers. People will say Lagos was a capital and that’s why it’s successful till now but it’s the foundation of that quality education that brought its success.
Many of our grand parents went to school for only 6 years in their life and they were able to raise an entire generation.
We need to go back to that template.
That quality education will open up more ideas for the entire country to decide if they want to do Akara business or other businesses.

Ironically, this heated "Olodo Uprising" conversation is actually a good sign for Nigeria.

Nigeria is finally having its first endogenous, organically-defined culture war over an issue that is intrinsically important to Nigerian society.

Every other culture war that post-colonial Nigeria has fought until now has been imported Yankee slop, or imported religious slop, or both (LGBTQ, 3rd wave Feminism, "sexual liberation", tithing, NYSC hijab, etc).

A society fighting internal culture wars over its own self-defined issues is a society that is finally obtaining an identity of its own. So I started feeding a stray cat on my porch. Sweet orange boy, very polite. Two weeks in, a lady knocked on my door and asked if I'd seen her cat. Showed me a picture. It was MY orange boy. Turns out he lives four houses down and has a full government name: Emperor Fluffington III. She wasn't mad though. She said he's been coming home absolutely STUFFED and she couldn't figure out where he was eating. We got to talking. Turns out Emperor Fluffington is running a full scam operation hitting up six different houses on our street. He has a different name at each house. We created a Facebook group to coordinate. He's been put on a diet. He's furious about it.
