1๏ธโฃ ๐ธMeiteis has no feeling of attachment to India. Even after 70 years of the signing of the merger agreement with the government of India they have not shown any tinge
of loyalty towards the nation. This can be substantiated by their intransigence to accept the Indian constitution, flag and the nation as a whole even when more than the 600 (six hundred) princely states who were amalgamated to India have shown
their unflinching loyalty to undivided India.
๐ธThe Meitei community declared their independence from India in 2012 during a press conference held in London. They opposed the Indian annexation of Manipur on October 15, 1949, and rejected the Merger Agreement.

Three Kuki civilians including a women of Loibol Khullen killed by Naga Militants in Kangpokpi District of Manipur today morning at 4 AM.
Echoing a dark past when inter-tribal conflicts were marked by brutal reprisals and the glorification of violence. Notably, both communities involved in this incident are Christian, underscoring that the conflict is fundamentally ethnic and tribal in nature rather than religious.

There is absolutely no political, ideological or tactical justification for killing unarmed civilians, including Women.
NSCN-IM & its proxy Kamson faction have utterly lost their moral compass & political legitimacy for repeatedly targeting unarmed civilians.

Strong Condemnation of the Attack on #Loibol Khulen Village
We strongly condemn the brutal attack carried out in Loibol Khulen Kuki Village under Bungte Chiru Sub-Division, Kangpokpi District, in the early hours of this morning by suspected ZUF-K militants. This senseless act of violence has claimed the lives of three innocent villagers, including an elderly woman, and left seven homes reduced to ashes.
The killing of innocent civilians and the destruction of their homes is an inhumane act that violates every principle of humanity and justice. Families who were peacefully living in their village have now been left devastated, grieving the loss of their loved ones and struggling to cope with the destruction of their properties.
We call upon the Government of India, the Government of Manipur, and all concerned security agencies to immediately investigate this heinous incident, bring the perpetrators to justice, and ensure the safety and security of vulnerable villages. The lives of innocent civilians must never become targets of armed violence.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones in this tragic attack. We stand in solidarity with the people of Loibol Khulen and demand justice for the victims. Those responsible must be identified, arrested, and punished according to the law.
Violence against innocent civilians can never be justified. Peace, security, and justice must prevail.

Three Kuki Civilians Killed in Pre-Dawn Attack on Loibol Khullen Village Allegedly by NSCN-IM & ZUF-Kamson
Songpi, June 5, 2026
The Chief of Loibol Khullen and two other residents were reported killed in an attack that allegedly occurred around 4:00 AM on Thursday morning in Kangpokpi district, Manipur. Local sources said the Kuki village came under assault in the early hours, resulting in three fatalities. The incident has triggered fresh concerns over security in the Saitu-Gamphazol subdivision, where Loibol Khullen is located.
The deceased have been identified as Letkhongam Haokip, son of Manglun, who served as the village chief; Tinmary Haokip, wife of Letkhongam Haokip; and Jangminlal Haokip, son of Seikhohao Haokip. According to initial accounts from residents, the attack was carried out in the pre-dawn hours while the village was largely asleep. Details on the sequence of events remain limited as authorities and community members assess the situation on the ground.
Local accounts allege that the village was attacked by members of the NSCN-IM and ZUF-Kamson. Police and district administration teams are reported to have reached Loibol Khullen to begin an investigation and collect statements from survivors and witnesses. Security forces have been deployed in the area to prevent further escalation.
Loibol Khullen is a small rural village under the Saitu-Gamphazol subdivision of Kangpokpi district. The area has seen periodic tensions in recent years involving different armed groups and communities. Under the ceasefire agreement, the NSCN-IM, under the leadership of Th. Muivah, and its allies have been alleged by Kuki groups to have carried out attacks on Kuki civilians since the 1990s, which they claim have killed more than 1,100 Kuki civilians. Official confirmation from the district administration and police regarding Thursdayโs incident is still pending as the situation continues to unfold.

#WATCH | Churachandpur, Manipur | Young Pillars College Principal and MD, Samuel Haokip, says, "Among the 14 that were abducted, there's a boy named Hengunsei Khongsai, a student of Young Pillars College. He had just completed his class 11 final exams. Now, Hengunsei is still a minor. He's only 16 years of age. He also has a disability and he's essentially an orphan. His mother left him when he was a child and his father passed away this January. Now, his friends have started their class 12 a week ago. He could not come. He's still in Taphou village. He was in Taphou village to earn his fare money, just to come from his village to Lamka... I earnestly appeal to the government at the state and the centre, to all the security agencies and to all right-thinking community leaders across the region. Please put an end to this madness... Let us release all the hostages on all sides, including our boy, Hengunsei Khongsai... On the 14th of May, as I've been given to understand by his family members, Hengunsei Khongsai, along with his friends and village members were earning money as a daily wage labourer. On their way home to their village, they were stopped, in front of Mount Everest College, Senapati, where they were stopped by Senapati District Student Association (SDSA) members. There were also police members present there, security personnel. Instead of protecting Hengunsei Khongsai and his friends and his villagers, the security people have handed over these civilians into the hands of the SDSA... All involved parties, including the SDSA student leaders as well as the police personnel involved in that incident must be investigated and they must be held accountable for whatever happens to Hengunsei Khongsai and the abducted 14 members."

Ex- BJP member exposing Meitei militant group leader of Arambei Tenggol . There is a tendency in Manipur to put women ahead whenever Security forces take some strict action and so called brave leaders hide behind them.
Good to hear sane voices from Imphal . A militant leader in NIA most wanted is still being endorsed by politicians linked to Centre .
