The final interactive session of the #AugmentedCCAM Final Event showcased real-world use cases from Spain, Latvia, France and the Virtual test Site highlighting how CCAM solutions perform across diverse road contexts and infrastructures.
Maria Gkemou (CERTH), coordinator of #AugmentedCCAM, presented “ACCAM in a nutshell,” offering a clear overview of the project’s vision, results and contribution to #CCAM deployment.
Patrick Mallejacq (@PIARC_Roads) shared a global perspective on how #CCAM can contribute to addressing key road challenges worldwide, highlighting the importance of international cooperation at the #AugmentedCCAM Final Event.
Elsa Lanaud shared a regulatory perspective on moving from research and experimentation to large-scale #CCAM deployment, highlighting the key role of regulation in enabling safe and scalable automated mobility at the #AugmentedCCAM Final Event.
Franziska Schmidt (Université Gustave Eiffel) shared key insights on how infrastructure fundamentals must evolve to support automated mobility, bridging research, engineering and the future of #CCAM.
Opening the #AugmentedCCAM Final Event, Pierre Delaigue (VINCI Autoroutes) highlighted how road infrastructure is evolving from pavement to platform to enable #CCAM deployment. A strong start to two days of discussion on smart infrastructure.

EMT Madrid, a key partner in the AUGMENTED CCAM project, took part in Smart Urban Spaces, a landmark event highlighting Madrid’s leadership in urban innovation and sustainable mobility.
During the workshop, EMT shared its growing expertise in connected and autonomous mobility.
Interventions during the workshop reinforced EMT’s commitment to advancing clean, connected and people-centric mobility solutions within Madrid’s wider Digital Transformation Strategy.

At the 52nd @ASECAP_EU Days in May, the IRF Acting DG Gonzalo Alcaraz presented the @AugmentedCCAM PDI Support Classification Schema to 80 European transport specialists.
The schema is part of the EU-funded AUGMENTED CCAM project, coordinated by @fehrlcomms & developed with 27 partners across Eu.
