In other news I see my website has had nearly 300 hits from Singapore! No purchases just trawling and searching tags. I wonder what they were looking for? A tee shirt gift? A eco-friendly bookish gift? A kangaroo pouch hoodie? A Maine Coon Tote? 🧐
Helen Whately & Kemi Badenoch are both millionaires. They claim the most.
Incl £74.6k in rent paid for by us. Their bills, council tax, travel expenses, subsidised food & drink.
But the Conservatives want you to believe disabled people on an average of £15k a year are the issue
Oh nooo just changed the algorithm of my X. I am not seeing tweets that I would rather not know existed. 😱 going in search of wildlife photos, fairy stories and cats. 🐈⬛ 😭☹️🧚♀️
If the sickness is a response to what is happening at work. It doesn’t need an OT to figure out what will help, but a decent leadership & management team to be reflective, accountable & sort it out. If your staff are going off LT sick it’s something wrong with your organisation!
I think my GP is more than qualified to diagnose whether I am sick or not. In fact I would hazard a guess they are more qualified at sickness than a OT! 🤔
🚨 NEW: Kemi Badenoch says the Tories would end the current sick note system
If a worker wants a sick note for 4 weeks or more, GPs would have to refer them to an occupational therapist who would assess if and how much they can work
@andyburnham@louderry Here’s an idea, pls would you ensure that social housing does not look like social housing. That the houses are built to last, good sized rooms, insulation, soundproofing, gardens, green space/ light. Need housing assocs & councils to also have £ & people to ensure maintenance
You know that feeling when you book a flight for 50 quid and somehow it ends up costing 100?
Getting seats together, correcting a typo, another charge here and there, it all adds up.
When the cost of living is already squeezing people, those endless extras can feel relentless.
So we're changing the rules for you.
Parents won't need to pay a penny extra just to sit next to their own children.
You'll be able to fix any name errors on your booking free of charge.
And because the last thing you want once you're on the plane is more stress, we're working with the industry to make sure that disruptive passengers who have been banned from one airline can be banned from flying with other airlines too.
I know holidays are expensive and these are small things, but hopefully they'll make your trip just that little bit cheaper and easier.
That's exactly the kind of thing I want this government to keep on fixing.
Good old #southwestwater have increased my bill by 50p a month. No breakdown of why! Generic letter saying it’s water usage. I wouldn’t mind so much if my family & friends could swim in the sea & rivers. But that’s stopped due to the shi💩in the water. #whatareyoufor
Bloody hell, have lab not noticed the current stagnant state of the housing market. No1 is able to move! Mortgage rates are shot, it’s a buyers market - houses are dropping 40k & then if there’s a chain it gets stuck. Estate agents going into liquidation … just sound bites 💩
We’ve seen too many people priced out of - and giving up on the dream of - ever having a home to call their own.
For those looking for their first home, this is a Labour Government that is on your side and fighting your corner. 🌹1/3
The UK has gone mad.
A pint is £6.50
A coffee is £4
Takeaway for one is £25
Petrol is £1.73 a litre. Diesel is £1.97
An hour with a driving instructor is £50
A short taxi is £20
A week’s shop for one is £80
A cheap hotel night is £110
Rent is £1,459 a month as national average.
And this is my personal favourite.
£172 a month for my two kids to get the bus to and from school just fifteen minutes away.
Nothing fancy.
Just the prices.
You work.
They take.
Dear companies, just because you have a system that enables you to email clients/users/ on a Sunday or a bank holiday when you are not in the office on a break. Please don’t. Your clients/users need a break too!
