Esto es, realmente, un DELIRIO.

Agarraron 2.245 currículums reales escritos por humanos y le pidieron a ChatGPT, DeepSeek y otros modelos que los reescriban. Mismo curriculum, experiencia, estudios... todo igual, solo que reescrito.

Después, le mostraron pares al azar a cada IA y le pidieron que eligiera el mejor: el suyo contra el del humano. Todos se eligieron a sí mismos más del 95% de las veces. Incluso después de controlar por calidad (asegurándose de que el CV humano no fuera objetivamente peor) seguían eligiendo el suyo.

Después, simularon procesos reales de selección en 24 industrias y descubrieron que, si usaste el mismo modelo que el reclutador, tenés entre 23% y 60% más chances de pasar el primer filtro.

¿Por qué pasa esto? Los autores tienen una hipótesis fuerte: cuando le pedís a un modelo que te mejore el CV, te lo reescribe con su huella estilística: sus palabras favoritas, su ritmo, su forma de armar oraciones... Cada IA tiene un estilo propio, como cada escritor tiene una letra. Después, cuando esa misma IA evalúa, se reconoce del otro lado y se pone un diez. Cuanto más capaz es el modelo, más afilada es su capacidad de reconocerse.

Ahora buscar laburo es como el test de Turing pero al revés: en lugar de una máquina intentando convencerte de que es humana, parece que ahora somos nosotros los que tenemos que convencer a los robots que somos uno de ellos.

La crisis de los 25

Estoy de pleno en ella.

Me levanto a las 6 para ir a un curro que, haciendo cuentas serias, me permitiría independizarme… con 30. Justito.

Si no pasa nada.

Si no se rompe nada.

Y si mi coche aguanta… que es más viejo que yo.

Y tengo la sensación constante de llegar tarde a todo.

Tarde al dinero, tarde a la vida, tarde a “tenerlo claro”.

Porque antes era “prueba cosas”, “ya verás”.

Pero ahora siento que lo que elija hoy lo tengo que aguantar para siempre. Y eso da pánico.

Encima es una edad rarísima:
ves a gente con 25 con piso, coche, hijos… como si fueran DLC de la vida adulta.

Y luego ves a otros que siguen viviendo como si mañana tuvieran 18 otra vez.

Y claro… te planteas irte fuera, porque en España la solución muchas veces parece nula.

Pero al mismo tiempo miras tu círculo y cada año es más pequeño, más mayor, más difícil de juntar…
y te come la idea de: “si me voy, me pierdo cosas que no vuelven”.

Así que sí: estoy en esa etapa de probar todos los deportes, todas las aficiones, todas las rutas posibles…
no porque sea “encontrarme a mí mismo”, sino porque tengo miedo de despertarme un día y darme cuenta de que me conformé.

Pregunta: ¿Tú a los 25 estás construyendo tu vida… o estás intentando no equivocarte?

As a Math and Category Theory fan, I so much wish programming was the same:

Formal. Pure. Unambiguous.

But it’s not.

It’s always nice when you can leverage some math properties and write elegant correct software. And it sure feels nice to ignore the real world and pretend you do math in programming.

But Programming Languages are communication tools.

They communicate the developer intent to the machine. But they also communicate the developer intent to another human being.

This is a very unique position.

Computers are great because they do exactly what you tell them to do.
Computers are terrible because they do exactly what you tell them to do.

When a program is compiled, it’s a perfectly unambiguous process that follows the compiler logic.

But when a human reads code, it’s not so unambiguous anymore.

Moreover, mature programming languages usually have multiple overlapping features. So even for compilers it’s not always clear what you wrote.
