Animals don’t actually have laws protecting them. There are laws in place to hold people accountable for harming them because of what that behaviour indicates about how they treat others. Abusers are a danger to the public. (I don’t support abusing animals)

Elle Harris, 20, daughter of Morgan Harris who was slain by Winnipeg serial killer Jeremy Skibicki in 2022. Elle is preparing to be on site when the search for the remains of her mother begins on December 2. Choking up, Elle said “When she went missing, I I didn’t want to believe it. I still don’t. I still think I’m going to see her walking down Main Street. And surprisingly there’s a lot of people (there) that look like her.”
