@lionsroar67@celticCSL I touted the case around social media where it got general approval & hoped CSL would run with it alongside their share accumulation policy. More recently I e mailed to WH as it has similar components to his proposals. Its ok saying whats wrong, its harder finding whats right.
@lionsroar67@celticCSL I agree that brute force is not the way. I approached DD by mail with a case for a Membership Service in September. He phoned me from Barbados to discuss what he thought was a well presented & thought out case. The timing wasnt right but the case got an answer bcos it was sound.
@_mjoneill67 How exactly have the Board fucked over every manager? That is not how it works. The manager recommends to The Board players he wants to sign within pre agreed wage levels. That is what happened to BRs signings above project player levels. The Board approved. So how was BR screwed
@celticCSL@4done6togo@lionsroar67 I got told in an e mail from WH that once the campaign to recruit those that pay to attend that the opportunity to join will be extended to shareholders who are not ST holders which removes need for CSL based in jam tomorrow and no leverage at all compared to ST purchasers.
@celtic_thoughts I bumped into a Celtic long term employee last week who was on the touch and heard McIness ask Robertson to end the game. Which McInnes later denied. Another alert Celtic employee checked with Robertson he had ended the game and had it announced over the tannoy.
@jucojames What is genuine attempts at clarifying to cling to a long held false core belief from 94 makes the task an uphill one by underming trust in the honest motives of the person attempting to challenge those beliefs. Dropping those is a necessity for true dialogue to take place.
@jucojames I agree totally but that does not justify labling efforts to clarify as Board Supporters and excuse the harder work of understanding attempts to clarify. Especially when it crosses the line into abuse or misrepresenting. Being incorrectly labeled is bad enough is bad but ignoring
@jucojames Voice on social media have a responsibilty to arrive at a more accurate narrative based on policy & process, not personalities, to reduce the divide, not widen it no matter how much they benefit from the cultural populist approach. I think the 3 HuddleBoard folk try that.
@jucojames They wont. They used it for budgetting when CL income was assured to title winners. No way will they do it when actual income is EL level.
I think there is some room to spend nearer but never enough to make the ambitious level they are charged with failing to do.
Those with a
@DC8n7@ChezGuevara59@PaulJohnDykes@ACSOMPOD@Snoutpaper77@sloanybhoy7 Duriing 2025 did any of those free look like recovering a decent profit to keep the spend ceiling high? At this point most folk turn off because it is easier to dismiss the processes Celtic abide by than try to understand how they work or DONT work. No bias just understanding.
@DC8n7@ChezGuevara59@PaulJohnDykes@ACSOMPOD@Snoutpaper77@sloanybhoy7 It did not help BRs case that none of the higher spend on Engles, Idah and Trusty was being justified as replacemnts for players sold. Part of the Celtic plan is buy low and sell high as profit on sales goes into the football earnings kitty that sets a ceiling on squad spend.
