During this pandemic, instead of reducing fee burden, increasing it to 6x is just complete madness. Being an institute of national importance that is not expected. Think again from our perspective as well...

for our second year and so on. But one week earlier they released another fee structure which has increased our tuition fees to nearly 6 times. On contacting college administration several times they issued a notice stating that this fee hike was approved last year,

From MSc department of SVNIT, SURAT
Our Institute demands a total of 72 k fees which is the sudden and uninformed hike in fees by 6 times. We request you to please look forward into this matter.

When contacted SVNIT administration replied that they are autonomous institute and they can increase fees to any extent they want. Such autonomy is hurting and will continue to hurt..
