@luckynosu There is an interesting thing: in the West, at least nowadays, piracy tend to go to thing hard to get legally. That's why Steam, streaming services (in the beginning) almost killed it. They made piracy irrelevant. If you can get it easy and legally, piracy is needless.
@cumilq I'd like to share my condolences, ms. Camila. I know how hard it can be to lose a family member suddenly, but i can't even begin to imagine how you must feel, given the situation. My most sincere feeling, and I hope you can find any solace or peace.
@donguriweb I can't talk for France, but in Latin America, especially Brazil, Saint Seiya was massive back in the day. The anime was everywhere, it was almost as well known as big names like Dragon Ball or Pokemon.
@learning_yohei Soccer fields are pretty common around most cities, but in the rare cases you don't find one, even one made of dirt, kids are pretty creative. 4 shoes to limit the field and 4 more, two on each side, for a goal each side and anywhere is a field. Park, parking lot, you name it.
@SaikoVtuber I remember my parents doing this to me when I was a child. Some of my most precious memories are from that time. Your nephew's going to remember these moments fondly for a long time.
@KrimsonRogue It's such a nihilistic take it baffles me... the universe is meaningless and humans are a spec of dust. Great! Make a meaning! Strive for something, you don't need a divine mandate to want to be more than what you are. Fight apathy with effort for the sake of effort, not reason
Bro, In the name of everything holy and unholy, WHO in their right mind thought that it was a good idea to put this new editing feature on this site? How about we use AI for actual useful stuff, like curing sickness? Or deciphering dead languages? Or literally anything else?
@GPrime85 People really do be forgetting that taking its time can be just as fun as getting to see the final product of your own making, huh? The effort you put on something makes it oh so gratifying when you finish it and see what your effort can do.
@DeltyThe73rd Honestly, aside from spy, Xaku is probably my go to to any mission. They are basically a walking turret with scaling damage no matter the level.
@AuthorGFAllen Chapter titles is a lost art... they could be funny as hell, bring you the fear of hell itself, or make you doubt everything you've read so far. I really miss them.
This is rather interesting to see. Everyone was praising Expedition 33 as the best thing since Tetris, but now that it won't 11 awards (many of which i don't think it should have), everybody is on hate mode with it. The tides of fame are rather fickle, it seems.
@DaveRob48526990@FountainCartoon So, let me get this straight, if your child spend hours, days, working on a silly picture for you, you would tell them to feed their work to a machine because it would make it "better" instead of encouraging and praising them for their own effort? That's... i have no words.
@lofi_lover0930 I think there is a bit to unpack there. While I won't deny that slop has been used pretty casually, its not like there aren't games that fit it like, say, Marvel Avengers. A poorly (sloply) made, rushed game. The problem, I think, is that we don't define those terms correctly.
