This is depressingly passive, isn't it? We had a go on Thursday for coaches and eventually the two bars started refreshing and increasing but that took a while to happen, then didn't happen fast enough. Good luck everyone! #Glastonbury
@digupancestors@GRScogings Far more accurate method. It seems like a lot of bells and whistles for very little information. There's too much animation and extra screens on this update too.
@digupancestors@GRScogings They wouldn't be wrong in that, but they're wrong to think my wee smells of asparagus so I'm not taking their word for anything any more.
@digupancestors Yes. I'm confused. I know for certain I have Devon going way back, then it's Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire, with some Buckinghamshire thrown in. All lines quite long, all my father's side. Where is this Cornwall coming from in such abundance? My map used to look like what I know.
@SalopResearcher @AncestralEnq Same here. I'm still waiting for it to be released to me. It always takes really ages but never seen it get overtaken by another update!!
Bewildered by the new @AncestryUK#AncestryDNA update 2024. Previously my map resembled my tree, what I knew. Now I have new regions that make no sense, and regions I know with certainty have gone. Currently debating with my cousin. #AncestryHour
Hurrah! @findmypast has finally stopped the infuriating requirement for a login each and every single day. It will take a few more days, I expect, before I start approaching the site without that inward groan of irritation in anticipation of the annoyance. #AncestryHour
@Matt_Pinner I'm interested in photography and have Dorset ancestry. I see that I might have started following you because of the #AncestryHour folk on here.
Heads up. Youβd do a lot worse with you time than looking to the medieval past and seeing how they made things work. We talk about sustainability and being apocalypse ready. They literally had no electricity, no fresh running water, no heating. Look to the past for inspiration!
