🚨 Zinedine Zidane reveals his message to Michael Olise and Rayan Cherki before sending them on against Belgium:

🗣️ Zinedine Zidane: “Before I sent Michael and Rayan on, I told them one thing: ‘Don’t try to win the game in one action. First, make Belgium uncomfortable.’

“Rayan had to come inside and play between their midfield and defence. Michael had to stay wider initially and wait for the full-back to commit.

“I told Michael, ‘When Rayan receives between the lines, don’t stand next to him. Stay away from the ball. Make the defender choose.’

“Because if Michael comes inside too early, they can defend both of them with the same players.

“But if he stays wide, Rayan can turn, and when the defender moves towards Rayan, Michael attacks the space that opens.

“That was the idea.

“And then I told Rayan, ‘Don’t force the final pass. If they close you, give it back and move again. The second time you receive it, the space will be different.’

“They understood immediately.

“And when Michael scored, I celebrated the way I did because I knew exactly what we had worked on.
