“He was incredible. Good mentor. He was good with X’s and O’s. He wasn’t the greatest X and O’s coach I’ve ever been a part of. He was probably one of the greatest motivators I’ve ever been around in my life. The way he could push you to like, want to die for him. He was very willful. I mean, just very powerful. His words, and the way he went about it, and the way he moved, and the way he talked, he was a very powerful man. This is why he’s Coach K. That’s why he got the USA job. He’s the only guy they felt could control these personalities. They put him in a room with LeBron and Kobe and Carmelo. They gave it to him. The Redeem Team was for a reason. That guy walks in a room and they all look, just commands his respect.”
