@KindleJason@hydra_pathos@hoffy60@MO_Independent@RudiKellerMI Nah I just realized that you guys are impossible to discuss things with. You want small government but then are okay with opening the door to book banning. Also the other dude literally said he agreed that Hitler brought good things to the table. Your brains are just gone. see ya
@KindleJason@hydra_pathos@hoffy60@MO_Independent@RudiKellerMI It is a straw man. If I asked what you thought about laser stations on Mars, any answer you respond with gives validity to my question. Countless libraries have age specific library cards already. I do not believe in government regulation on knowledge. Parents should do the job.
@KindleJason@hydra_pathos@hoffy60@MO_Independent@RudiKellerMI I did not answer the question because it's a strawman. It doesn't happen. No, I would personally not allow my child to check out any of those totally real books. Are you comfortable giving other people the power to choose what you or your children are allowed to read?
@KindleJason@hydra_pathos@hoffy60@MO_Independent@RudiKellerMI Sorry, you're used to four word statements from people who tell you how to think. "Government book banning bad." There you go. All libraries are different with different age rules. At the end of the day, parents should be responsible for what their children are checking out.
@hydra_pathos@hoffy60@MO_Independent@RudiKellerMI Did you forget that you asked a question? I was answering that. Still would love if you to go to your library and find the pro pedo books. Saw your tweet of you agreeing to what Kanye said about Hitler. You're an actual moron, think for yourself in the future.
@hydra_pathos@hoffy60@MO_Independent@RudiKellerMI None of anything you listed is being checked out to minors. I urge you to go to your local library and find a book on pro-beastiality or pro-pedophilia. I think you're fighting some evil strawman and are too far gone in your rabbit hole to think rationally here.
@hydra_pathos@hoffy60@MO_Independent@RudiKellerMI This rule is in no way impacting school libraries. It is public libraries that would be impacted by these rules. And yes, I am saying that no books should be banned in any library. Public schools need more funding. Teachers unions are not the issue, it is administrative bloat.
@hydra_pathos@hoffy60@MO_Independent@RudiKellerMI The government making rules on appropriate ages to read books is a slippery slope. Would you want a government to apply that rule to important books like anything related to history or religion?
@hoffy60@MO_Independent@RudiKellerMI yeah you're right. the bible has murder and death, im thinking we should ban until at least 18 years old. sound right to you?
