@BatuhanTosunog1 Bain’s Smith is not the founder of Ugg boots he is a fake and an opportunist, we can prove his not the founder of Ugg , it was founded in South Australia and the first person who registered Ugg boots is Jhon Arnold. It is a generic term in Australia.
In a shock decision, the David versus Goliath trademark battle between the Sydney Ugg bootmaker Eddie Oygur’s small family company and the multinational footwear giant Deckers has been dealt a cruel blow with the US Supreme Court rejecting a petition to hear the landmark case.
US Supreme Court REJECTS ‘UGG’ Appeal
DESPITE POWERFUL APPEAL GROUNDS TO KNOCK OUT ‘UGG’ TRADEMARK HELD BY US COMPANY, AND A STRONG ‘FRIEND OF THE COURT’ BRIEF FILED BY THE AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT:
SHOCK RESULT ‘A TRAVESTY OF JUSTICE’: US Supreme Court REJECTS ‘UGG’ Appeal
“It may be the end of the road for Eddie in this case, but somehow we will all regroup and find another way to bring ‘Ugg’ back home. Eddie won’t be giving up, and neither will his Aussie legal team.”
The Australian Government only has until this Friday, November 5th, to file the brief, to support Eddie’s case that ‘Ugg’ is a generic and quintessentially Australian term that should not be a trademark in the US (and in 137 other countries).
"This is an issue of national pride where a quiet Aussie battler has taken on the world. The term ‘ugg’ originated in Australia and is part of our identity. It’s exactly the kind of thing our federal government should be throwing its weight behind." https://t.co/riZ74vkSeF
“This is huge news. It is just in the nick of time, and this case has huge implications not only in international trademark law, but especially, for Australia and Australian jobs”.

We need to get back our ICONS starting w/UGG.
SIGN petition re US ruling affectively claiming OUR #Ugg name.
It's cultural appropriation of OUR ICONS by US who are profiting on Aussie culture & OUR good reputation.
THE FRENCH DID IT. SO SHOULD AUSTRALIA!🦘
It is as though the Australian Government has on the surface provided assistance, but by holding back on the friend of the court brief, is sabotaging Eddie’s chance to have the merits of his appeal heard and determined by the US Supreme Court.
Why can't the Australian Government just take the next logical and small step to file a 'friend of the court' brief given that it is clearly in the national interest and about Australian jobs. https://t.co/7IZMIQLB8x
