OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Shannon Finn of @KCC_SB was named the ICCAC Division II Softball Offensive Player of the Year!

Finn blistered the softball all season, notching a .421 BA, 31 XBHs and 56 RBIs.

She wreaked havoc on the base paths this season with an ICCAC-leading 45 stolen bases (10th in NJCAA) and 95 runs -- second-most in NJCAA Division II.

Finn is the first Eagle to win the award since DoniRae Mayhew won it in 2018.

PITCHER OF THE YEAR

Libby Trewin of
@KCC_SB was named the ICCAC Division II Softball Pitcher of the Year!

A freshman, Trewin stepped in and dominated this season. She tallied 179 Ks (13th in NJCAA), a 1.18 ERA and a 0.74 WHIP. Her 27 wins are most in the NJCAA Division II to date.

She was even more impressive in conference play with a 0.81 ERA, a 0.72 WHIP and let opponents hit just .151 off of her.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Mischa Reiners of @KCC_SB was named the ICCAC Division II Softball Defensive Player of the Year!

A catcher, Reiners was elite behind the dish all season. She had 247 putouts, 13 assists and a perfect 1.000 fielding pct. She didn't allow a stolen base in conference play.

She becomes the 8th Eagle in the last 10 year to win the award.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Eric Frese of @KCC_SB was named the ICCAC Division II Softball Coach of the Year!

Frese has led the Eagles to a 58-5 record -- and are on a 35 game winning streak, and a No. 1 ranking in the country in the final poll.

It's Frese's second time being honored as the ICCAC Coach of the Year -- the first time being in 2024

Kirkwood swept this season's top postseason honors after winning the regular season and Region 11-A crown!

The Eagles placed seven players on First Team.

DMACC had six players on First Team. Iowa Central & NIACC each earned two spots. Northeast Iowa rounded out the list with one.
