i believe this cycle we have more "real" altcoins w/ products than other cycles

$PRIME, $CROWN - gaming

$HNT, $XNET - DePin

$ENA - defi innovation

$CHEX - RWAs

on flip side, memecoins have just garnered a lot of attention, but I think the reasoning is wrong

if you look at the TAM of zoomer/users on popular social medias like instagram, tik tok, & X where memes proliferate, there is just a lot more people in aggregate by numbers vs. the amount of people who are interested in purely financial applications (defi comparison) - memecoins will continue to be popular bc memes in general are popular on the internet, & super easy for anyone to understand without them needing to know anything about crypto
