Once we had to get our papers bound nicely and I asked the teacher what was the max number of pages our binding machine could do.
They made the mistake of telling me.

Piers Anthony has a lot of good Sci-Fi that I love.
The Martian is brilliant and actually helped inspire the back story in my series which is dystopian sci-fi.

Not sure if I should be happy my book keeps going out of stock on Amazon or annoyed that the publisher can't keep up... XD But it's small restocks each time.
If only my fiction could sell that well.

Newberry and Hobbes is my favorite guilty pleasure it's steampunk campy detective (there's zombies but it's a side point that everyone just shrugs off)

The other day All Star by Smash Mouth came on the radio.
My kid: Why are they playing the song from Shrek?

Me: It wasn't a Shrek song...Shrek just used popular songs from when I was a teenager. All Star was awesome to us.
