last week a man told me he doesn't like the expectations I have for his behavior towards me, that he has to work really hard to be that way around me. I told him that speaks to our incompatibility and we should end things...he disagreed.

I don’t think people talk deeply enough about life before they get in relationships because the amount of couples who are incompatible as hell walking around miserable together is crazy. You cannot work through incompatibility, the only answer is breaking up

I recently finished "The Anti-War" by Douglas Gwyn. It consists of 2 essays: 'Peace Finds the Purpose of a Peculiar People' & 'Militant Peacemaking in the Manner of Friends'

The purpose of the latter is "to look 𝘵𝘩𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 the phenomena of empire 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 the eyes of faith."
