Welcome to Authova.
We're building a space for author support, creative direction, visibility, and helping good stories connect with the readers they're meant to reach.
This is just the beginning.
@PetiteDeborah Two years later and seeing your debut at Barnes & Noble must feel pretty special. And now having your next project in front of literary agents too, that’s an exciting place to be. Wishing you lots of good news from those queries! 😊
@harlequin_gri That cover immediately gives the book such a dark, theatrical feel. The carnival imagery is gorgeous, and “The Black Carnival” is a title that definitely makes you curious about what’s inside. Congratulations on the launch!
@Author_PJParker That “wait, what’s that twist?” moment is one of the best parts of discovery writing 😂 Sounds like the story surprised you too. Hope the second draft brings that twist together nicely!
@peternealwrites That opening immediately creates a sense of dread. “The baby did not cry” is such a simple line, but it makes you want to know what happened next. Womb of Shadows sounds seriously unsettling.
@akpauthor Second-chance romance always has a way of pulling you in, especially when there’s enough history between the characters to make that reunion really matter. This sounds like a lovely standalone read. ❤️
@MattWollert Nearly finished is such a good stage to be at. The premise definitely makes you curious about what Amelia’s life looks like once she’s inside Prevent, wishing you a smooth run toward release.
@itsdylanmercer 2,127 words is a seriously productive day 🎉 I love when something from real life ends up giving a character more depth. That revenge arc already sounds like it has some emotional weight to it.
@MIntrinsic7 That sounds like a really worthwhile outcome. I especially love that the event opened the door to a grant-writing opportunity for the nonprofit those unexpected connections can end up being the most valuable part.
@Sutoscience This is such an exciting stage of the process. Getting outside readers in before the final rewrite can make such a difference. Hope you get some really thoughtful beta readers for it!
@KelvinBroadus Four books is definitely not random 😄 I really like that you’ve built such a varied body of work. “Start Something, Do Something” especially caught my eye.
@AuthorKarriGage Launch day is such a special moment, especially when the story comes from something so personal. Wishing you and Grace and Hope a beautiful launch day. ❤️
@The_ABClark That makes sense. It sounds like the photographs weren’t just accompanying the writing they helped shape how you built each page and spread. That must have made the layout process quite different.
@MIntrinsic7 Honestly, you handled that setback really well. Turning the delay into a way to still connect with the people who were waiting for the book was a smart save.
@SerenaDracis 😂 “I can’t write just one” is becoming quite the fantasy-author problem. But building the world’s history first sounds like it could make the original series even richer.
@ig_author A four-book fairy-tale arc with magic, friendship, battles and family is quite a world to build. Congratulations on getting the series out there!
@ActScribblerDJ The stories behind this sound fascinating, especially Bletchley Park and Live Aid. That’s quite a life to draw from. Wishing you lots of readers for it!
