Rabun Gap DL Segun Alexander has official visits scheduled to Cal, Texas A&M, Clemson, Vanderbilt and Notre Dame this summer.

Alexander recently reclassified from 2028 to 2027.

Rabun Gap has hired Adam Gadoury as its next head girls basketball coach, the school announced this afternoon.

In the past, Gadoury coached basketball for nine years at Cushing Academy, where he contributed to two New England Prep School Class AA Championships and two National Prep School Championship appearances.

He has coached JV boys soccer and baseball at Rabun Gap over the last few years.

Former Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School and Michigan tight end Marlin Klein has just been drafted No. 59 overall by the Houston Texans.

Klein is the first draft pick from Rabun Gap to the NFL and any of the major sports leagues - NFL, NBA, MLB or NHL.

Rabun Gap senior RJ Lacossade has committed to Southern Wesleyan University to continue his basketball career.

In his 19 years as the girls basketball coach at Rabun Gap, Earnhardt won two state titles and made the Final Four 13 times.

In 13 years as the Athletic Director, Rabun Gap won seven state championships, had nine runner-up finishes and sent over 100 student-athletes to the collegiate level.

Earnhardt was also the school’s inaugural head football coach, starting the varsity program in 2011. He served as the defensive backs coach the last few seasons on head coach Derek White’s staff.
