@cleobug101 1. Teaching, nursing & other "empathy careers" aren't worth less. Imagine society w/o them... Vital stuff.

2. Women in tech (NOT empathy careers) STILL make only $0.83 for every $1 men make for same job descriptions, education, & experience. The pay gap is real.

@BenDempsey18 @electionsjoe In uni, you ALWAYS have to cite your sources. It doesn't need to be spelled out in a rubric. Failure to cite anything and you can end up on plagiarism charges... Turnitin and other anti-cheating apps are in heavy use throughout academia these days. No citations is a zero AT BEST.

The phrase was only added to coins regularly and to paper money in the 1950s, when conservatives added them in response to Communism.

It did not include "United States of America" til later versions & did not include "under God" until the 1950s. It is in the Flag Code but NOT doing the Pledge is a protected legal right.
