@BlizzardCS I reassembled my old PC, you're right, the authenticator is still borked but at least I can log in, can't remove the authentication though because you need the authenticator to work to remove it...
@BlizzardCS Yes that's the 24 hours I mentioned. I really don't understand what is wrong with an authenticator I've had on the account since cataclysm though.
Odo is being asked to testify yet again. He said he could only stick to the Report, & that is what he would and must do. After so much testimony & total transparency, this Pah-Wraith Hunt must now end. No more Do Overs. No Collusion, No Obstruction. The Great Link is dead!
@WarcraftZai @atanae@Blizzard_Ent I don't think that category exists here. Certainly not by that name, normally, full or part-time, after 3m you're considered to be "permanent" and typically there needs to be cause, including some form of escalating process or remedial effort b4 firing, diff for layoffs or temp.
@WarcraftZai @atanae@Blizzard_Ent In order to get around it, companies redefine the role, so I'm certainly not saying unionization isn't the way to go, mostly a curiosity about how US labour laws work. Sometimes I find it baffling.
@atanae Furthermore, if one of said employees is on employment insurance still and declines to resume working, their benefits would be cut off, so the govt is inherently interested in following those guidelines.
@atanae@Blizzard_Ent In Ontario, afaik, and probably the other provinces are similar, if you terminate employment due to lack of work or elimination of roles, but then start to rehire under the same role, you must recall the terminated (laid off) employee(s). Is that not the case in the US?
@atanae I've used calibre for years now, didn't know about the DRM thing. I bought a book for my wife but it's locked to her device, I'd love to get it for myself.
