@pjscally @BarstoolMSU Again, Michigan gets all the credit for acquiring the team they’ve built, but to say Dusty May is elite would be foolish based on what is out there on this team.

And one of our “transfers” is an assistant coaches graduate school son. That’s like UM “recruiting” Dusty’s nephew

MSU beat Dusty May’s squad by 13 and 17 pts last year.

But props to a $10M influx in spending on the team. It’s faired well for UM this year. Genuine props given there.

But to think Dusty May is “building” not “buying” wouldn’t fit long term.

@pjscally Right but my post was to first address that Minnesota has NO OLINE. Nothing he could do for about 75% of the game. But even when he HAS time, JJ couldn’t put a ball on the numbers to even get a first down.

@pjscally He’s shaky as a rookie. I get it. Not saying they should find a replacement yet… but Kevin O’Connell was visual frustrated tonight with his “arm talent” everyone talks about. He’ll also lose respect from Jettas real quick if he keeps overthrowing receivers by 7 yards.

@pjscally Penix has a bottom half of the league WR core and one of the best RBs. They don’t need production out of him to win games… clearly. Not the same expectation on him as on JJ.

AND JJ was struggling to find the chest of receivers 12 yds down the field. 2INTs, and almost a 3rd.
