@FieldsInTrust The very same situation in the South West. Very difficult to finance such important spaces. @torridgedc created its own play area strategy to help combat the issue for its local residents and visitors

@JohnEvely_BPost On a positive, they have given away 10 tickets to all grassroots clubs for registering youth players early. These have either been given away to volunteers or sold off mega cheap to raise a bit of money for their club #grassroots

@andNickMullins Any worry about the health of these guys flying so much. From someone that has just suffered a DVT leading to blood clots on the lungs with no travel, this can’t be good for them!

Happy to admit I wasn’t 100% sure about the appointment of Steve Borthwick as @EnglandRugby head coach but after listening to him on the rugby Union weekly podcast with @chjones9, I am now in no doubt he is the right man.

Loose Head by @JoeMarler. A cracking read. I don’t read too many books. Probably one a year but I’m glad was the latest. A cracking insight into the life of a pro rugby player at the top of his game but highlights the difficulties that most won’t see. And bloody funny!
