Reading Challenge: Read outside your regular genres. My choice: Crossover by Kwame Alexander. I've never read a graphic novel, bonus it's also poetry. It made me cry, laugh, and inspired me. I can't wait to share with my students. What a cool book!

#educationalsportscast 5th grade on fire.Opponents,close reading and inferencing,had no chance.Students used powers of text dependent evidence to solve crime.Level of engagement-soaring,level reading skills-sky high. Amazing effort by students and they played hard to the buzzer.

New reminder in phone: “Sparkle forfamily.” It goes off right before everyone gets home from work/school so I remember to show love for them first, listen to their day, and ask/remind them of things last. Relationship changer. #daretolead Adding it to my classroom routine 2020
