@BackoftheTrini1 Let’s see what Emery does. Personally I think he has a role this season. We only need an injury to Watkins and/or Ings and we’re in trouble. Could also be the type of forward we need if we want to change a game be it formation or something different for opponents.

[Stu AVFC @AvfcStu]

@BackoftheTrini1 Keep for now and replace if needed in next few seasons. Hopefully KKH can develop on loan and challenge next season to push him and keep him honest.

[Stu AVFC @AvfcStu]

@BackoftheTrini1 I think he has a role to play but I'd like to see more of the Scotland McGinn than recent AVFC McGinn. This is where I think the being able to use 5 subs could benefit us. I don't think many teams would like to see SJM (Scotland) warming up on 60+ mins

Hi Everyone,
I'm New here on the #AVFC Twitter.
I Have been a season ticket holder for many years so I have seen the ups and downs of Villa .

All Follows and RTs would be appreciated to get me started on my journey here . UTV

Heard the news about Emery yesterday didn’t want to get hyped only for a crash to come later but now I’ve slept on it and considered other options I’m genuinely excited to see where we go. I just hope as a fan base we stick with him if he hits a sticky patch #avfc #utv

@TheRealPaulE Imagine the hate if Danny Murphy was on tonight.

[Stu AVFC @AvfcStu]

Any villa spaces tonight? #AVFC

[Stu AVFC @AvfcStu]

Speculation about new #avfc manager is expected. Lets get behind he team and put to bed the idea that we are the worst fans when things don't go to plan.

I have faith that whoever the new manager is the recruitment process will be thorough.

@villareport Numb.

I expected next to nothing and, honestly it feels like that’s what happened.

I believe with the way we “play” atm, the game could be 900 minutes long and we’d still not be able to break a team down.

Things from tonight’s game.
AW needs to be dropped.
PC had his moments.
Villa energy mirrors SG’s on the bench. Glimpses of life for 5 minutes then nothing.
Our players don’t know how to header a ball.
AM stealing a living while waiting to gig again in his covers band

@TalkAstonVilla I believe it’s the 4th consecutive left corner, which if I remember my high school maths correctly takes us back the the beginning.

[Stu AVFC @AvfcStu]

We could still be playing now and not have scored. No 🔥 in Watkins eyes, Ings was anonymous for the time he was on. Don’t know what 🏹 has to do to get a game but surely against 10 men and needing a goal against a tired back line he’s the man for the job #avfc

@AVFCFaithful_ Underwhelmed but not giving up. We will have bad days where we scrape a win & we will have days where we look like a proper top 6 team, we need to go through rough s*** first. I don’t like it but that’s the reality atm. One saving grace there are teams that are worse this season.

Others need minutes. Would have liked to have seen Feeney loaned out too

@BBCMOTD VAR is for clear an obvious errors. This is another example of a clear & obvious error that VAR can’t do anything about because of farcical laws regarding the actions of match officials beforehand. Can we honestly say the game is fair when things like this happen. #joke #big6bias

[Stu AVFC @AvfcStu]

Difficult to rate Villa’s transfer window. At the start I would have said it was 7/10 needed a good box-to-box which I thought we would get. Turned out to be an indifferent window. Loss of DC was huge and possibly changed plans. Overall I’d rate it 5/10. #avfc

[Stu AVFC @AvfcStu]

@tunein88 Agreed we shouldn’t need it. I imagine that would be the line that comes out though.

[Stu AVFC @AvfcStu]

If Luiz was on project restart form then I would keep and offer what he wants but he’s not.

Fault doesn’t lie with anyone in particular imo and a number of factors have contributed to inconsistency.

In ideal world Luiz sold and funds used to help bring in Gallagher #avfc #vtid
