@TClaassens1@BusinessTechSA Fair, I incorrectly assumed four children for some reason. Even assuming your wife earns R20k as well, I just can't imagine feeling comfortable raising two children on R40k (-tax), but that's just my opinion. Respect for pulling it off, and hope your kids have more one day!
@TClaassens1@BusinessTechSA Irresponsible. Assuming they didn't have much more substantial income before having four children, and lost it in the meantime.
@RomanCabanac@SollyMalatsi@ICASA_org Unfortunately the people who need Starlink the most aren't represented in the comments. If only they had access to the internet....
@ewnupdates@BarbaraCreecy_ Do you drive with your eyes closed, or do you just have selective vision? Crime in the public transport industry has been the norm for many years.
Lying through your teeth.
All these people asking LLMs like Grok to answer deeply nuanced and complex socio-political questions, while having no idea how it works or what an LLM does.
Dangerous territory.
Simplified: a LLM just predicts words based on patterns.
It's not intelligent.
It can't "think".
@mafiri_vincent@CityTshwane Unfortunately I have no details on these specific outages. If you're affected please report and try to contact your ward counselor for information.
In general: shortage of competent staff, lack of maintenance, lack of equipment upgrades, and corruption.
@be1_gilly Ignore the people calling themselves "journalists". The person you quoted, and in fact you yourself, are the true journalists.
The days of massive media houses, greedily feeding on our attention for every last cent, are over.
There's very little talk about this, but the smell of Sulphur is very noticeable in Johannesburg and Pretoria. There was also a clearly visible smog in the air earlier today.
Anyone know if a manufacturing plant or factory is responsible?
@CilliersB@CityTshwane
Johannesburg is once again shrouded in a stinking sulphur odour - a problem that was confined to some early winter mornings, but now persists into summer. What is the source of this air pollution? This will have serious impacts on our health. ๐๐ท @Dr_Dion_George @environmentza
