@MoneyRehab_ Love this. Estate duty implications for it to last 100 yrs is key (trusts, pty etc) - unless planning to personally live for 100 more years 😎
And to the inflation element, yes that R1.3bn will be worth much much less (R10-R17m in today's money)... it's still R10m!! 👌👌👌

@MoneyRehab_ Great point, takes a while to accept the "opportunity cost" of not earning/maximizing every possible cent
But your point on ALL YOUR TIME IS YOURS is well made (and spot on)👌
Gaza has no power or fuel.
Hospitals can’t function.
Journalists can’t report.
Families can’t connect.
Vehicles can’t move.
Excavators can’t rescue living children buried under rubble.
All this with no water or food. Just nonstop indiscriminate bombing.
“Never again.” Shame.
@talkcentss@Melisha_Empire Inflation would need to be >11.75% for this to become a problem, no?
Definitely topping up at this rate, but the worry-monster in me is properly waving red flags...
@CAPITALSIGMAza 🇿🇦 Sharpe ratio still 👍( for how long, 🤷)
Portfolio view, would I ACTIVELY allocate new funds to 🇿🇦, no. For me, its balanced against "pre-existing" portfolio (🏠, pension, jse eq) at risk.
Cap gain taxes, LT look-through view, future forex liabilities, geo diversification
