The bizarre mystery of what happened in 7 hrs in the Odisha train crash:

On 4th Jun at 10am, Railway Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw said that "Commissioner of Railway Safety has investigated the matter & we have identified the cause of the incident. It happened due to change in electronic interlocking"

Then, 7 hours later, at 7pm, the Minister said "Railway Board has recommended a CBI probe"

Now understand this:

👉 Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) is an INDEPENDENT commission that DOES NOT REPORT to @AshwiniVaishnaw or the Rail Ministry

👉 Railway Board, however, comes under the Rail Ministry & @AshwiniVaishnaw

While the independent CRS investigated the train crash & identified the cause of the incident as "change in interlocking", the Railway Board under @AshwiniVaishnaw suddenly recommended a CBI probe.

Why are the recommendations of the Railway Board, which reports to Rail Ministry, being prioritized instead of the findings of the independent commission CRS?

It is clear that Rail Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw is using his influence on the Railway Board to bury the truth & give the case to the CBI instead of waiting for the final report by the independent CRS.

Union Minister @AshwiniVaishnaw MUST RESIGN because now he's literally blocking an independent probe into the Odisha tragedy which killed almost 300 people.
