Why could copper become more valuable?

The shortage begins long before copper inventories become visibly critical. It starts when too few projects enter exploration, too few targets reach drilling, and too few discoveries advance through the development pipeline.

Why am I watching NRED?

I view NRED as exposure to the discovery side of the copper chain. Before major producers can add future tonnes, explorers must identify targets, test geological concepts, and create projects capable of entering the development pipeline.

The supply gap will not close by itself. New deposits must be identified, drilled, permitted, financed, and built. NRED is attempting to participate at the beginning of that process

THE MARKET MAY PAY MORE FOR COMPANIES SEARCHING FOR TOMORROW’S COPPER.

The setup has two parts.

First, the commodity:
The bullish thesis comes from several forces working together: AI, grid expansion, electrification, slow mine development, lower grades, and limited major discoveries.

Second, NRED:
Wilmac gives NRED exposure to a copper-gold project in British Columbia’s Quesnel porphyry belt near the producing Copper Mountain Mine. If copper rises, investors may assign more value to prospective ground in a proven district.

My bullish scenario is simple: copper rises, investors seek leverage, juniors receive more capital, and successful Wilmac milestones carry more weight. NFA.
