Merck & Co. is paying out over $50 million to settle hundreds of Gardasil lawsuits without, of course, admitting any liability. The company's reasoning is straightforward and unsurprising: settling was simply cheaper than fighting each case individually.

To put that number in perspective, Gardasil generated $8.9 billion in sales in 2023 alone. That $50 million payout? A drop in the bucket.

And yet, despite hundreds of lawsuits and countless personal stories from people in our own communities, Merck's position remains unchanged — Gardasil is safe, and they stand behind it.
Most people know others who have been affected by injections and this payout proves what we already know.

Injections are poison and anyone who takes them is at risk of illness or death.
