A pleasure meeting the local community and learning about Ocean Literacy with the Marine Conservation Society on Colwyn Bay.
This is a concept that highlights our influence on the ocean and its influence on us. Hugely encouraging to see that positive social change is being powered by collective action. Connecting communities with the ocean, and driving sustainable choices for healthier seas.

Looking forward to The ‘Together at Christmas’ Carol Service returning to Westminster Abbey this December.
The service will bring people together to celebrate love in all its forms, whether it’s in families, friendships or across communities.
Christmas is a time that connects us all. Tis the season! 🎄🎶
Honoured to be at Windsor Castle this evening to mark 80 years since the end of the Second World War in the Far East with Their Majesties.
It was deeply moving to meet veterans from across the UK and Commonwealth who served in the Pacific and Indian Ocean territories - a generation whose courage and sacrifice brought peace to millions, and whose legacy continues to inspire us today.
Lest We Forget.

It was inspiring to see trainee and newly qualified firefighters in action during a range of simulations, and to hear how this investment is creating opportunities for young people, and strengthening collaboration across emergency services in Northern Ireland.
👑🔥The Prince and Princess of Wales swap royal roles for firefighters in Northern Ireland
🎤🎥Chief Reporter @jamesgould23 joined Their Royal Highnesses on their first stop of the day – the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service’s new Learning and Development College outside Cookstown, County Tyrone.
✅️The royal couple spent the morning stepping into firefighters’ boots, tackling a range of simulated incidents and drills at the state-of-the-art facility.
They watched a dramatic flood-rescue demonstration, as crews practised saving a casualty from a fast-flowing river.
Their transport of choice across the 50-acre site? None other than a fire engine.
The Prince and Princess also met with graduates, trainee recruits, and staff.
The visit comes during Fire Safety Week – and marks the first engagement of their Northern Ireland trip, with more to follow.
