I’ve been telling you I’m not your audience. Repeating that back to me as though you’ve made a discovery rather proves comprehension is not your strongest faculty. And the market does not begin and end with me. I prefer authors who are intellectually rigorous and capable of teaching me something; yet here I am explaining basic audience behaviour to you.
If you removed the names from this exchange between you and I since today, and ask a complete stranger which one of us writes books for a living. I suspect the answer may be unkind to your title.
@Syzzzzz_122 You have now delivered the same moral indictment three times. It was neither revelatory the first time nor improved by repetition. Same hamster wheel of thought, merely another lap.

What a curious thing to make authorship part of your identity while presenting yourself with such poor articulation, so little regard for fact, and such confidence in misinformation. I looked at your page expecting the mind of someone I might want to read; regrettably, I found no such invitation. A writer should inspire confidence in their relationship with language, information and precision. If you intend to succeed as an author, treat every public interaction as an advertisement for the mind behind the book. Right now, you’re giving prospective readers more reasons to leave it on the shelf than to ever pick it up. I STAND BY THAT!
Good morning my ladies and girls and if you’re a guy morning. 🩸

@KgomotsoKaalfoo “I don’t find her likeable” is a preference, not a moral framework. And you don’t have to like me. In fact, I don’t particularly want people like you liking me, if I ever become palatable to people whose standards operate like this, I’d have to wonder what I was doing wrong.
You literally begin with “drunk or not,” which already tells me you recognize the public drunkenness as an issue. Yet somehow that still leaves him morally preferable to me, while the thing that “sickens” you is people supporting me because you personally don’t like me.
So I’m genuinely curious: what is your stance on grown adults who repeatedly pursue people barely into adulthood? What is your stance on fathers repeatedly appearing intoxicated in public, becoming irrational, fighting, and leaving their children to one day inherit the footage and fallout of that behaviour?
Because one of these is personal preference, and the others are actual conduct. If your moral concern disappears when the person is someone you support, then it was never morality. It was allegiance.
