What a wonderful Stopfordian! Was my pleasure to be dispatched by my new comms colleagues to meet and interview Mabel last week (at an appropriate distance). A great example of how technology can help improve the lives of people at this challenging and sometimes lonely time.

What a marvellous story - Mable who is 91, recently received a @BTGroup donated tablet through the #devicesdotnow campaign. She has now been able to video call her daughter in Australia who she hasn't seen for 25 years.

Felt the right morning to pop up to Windgather on the bike early doors as a tribute to the late, great Salford born climber Joe Brown, who died this week and climbed there in his younger years. A chilly, blustery morning, but the views were as stunning as ever.

Enjoyable hour or so working w/ Simon @asda Marple & @marplesportsuk, using @TNLComFund £, riding loaned @OfficialTfGM e-cargo bike to deliver supplies to vulnerable residents. Hills no probs even with 3 good loads of shopping, surprisingly agile handling, plus exercise for me!👍
