I started making resin #jewelry this summer which is, much like my writing, inspired by my love of nature. If you or someone you know would like a piece, check out more styles & colors on my IG (@amberreflections) & Etsy https://t.co/1uk5NQxusP
Luckily, this was on my flight home—had it been on the way it would have ruined my trip and I would have been so upset. I know ppl are over masking, but pls. don’t ruin other people’s trips by being careless and too cool to mask.
Got my 1st cold in 4 years (I still mask indoors & don’t dine indoors) after taking my 1st flight in 4 yrs. I masked the entire time but the person next to me didn’t & was sneezing & coughing. If you’re sick at all PLEASE buy a mask & wear it on the plane to keep others healthy😷
Nice seeing new & old faces @ opening reception for “Confluence: Where Art & Poetry Meet” #Pittsboro Gallery of Arts! Here’s the enamel necklace by artist Pam Freese my #poem was inspired by 🦋 My piece is on the wall next to the case; the show’s on display for the rest of May!

So pleased @NCLA_tweets archived this wonderful project. I came across @visual_verse in its final years and it inspired me to lean into my love of ekphrastic poetry. https://t.co/rgMLPRvOiS
Wow. The entire 10 years of the unique anthology @visual_verse is now archived and freely available for all to use via NCLA! For research, teaching and to inspire your new writing, or search by artist, writer, volume and chapter: https://t.co/KCkX9a9vUc

idea of heaven: absence
of change. Better than earth? How
would you know, who are neither
here nor there, standing in our midst?"

My high schooler and I will both have #poems in @ghostlightlit’s very first issue!💡What a special experience to share, especially as we both continue to use our creative outlets to process big feelings like grief 🖤 @RainbowRaven37
My teenager’s first published art piece appears in the latest issue of #deadpeasant magazine! 🎨 Look out world, @RainbowRaven37’s a double threat: poetry & art!
"My daughter’s birth mom dons a tattoo of a sea turtle—
a premonition her hatchings would return
the same way sea turtles do each year
to the exact beach their existence began."
"Internal Compass" by @awatsonwrites

Truly enjoying reading the entire issue @HoneyguideM on the theme of #oceananimals🪼My piece, “Internal Compass” appears in it as well (and can be read online) 🐢 It’s such a wonderful journal to work with—taking great care & pride in the work they publish 📖
Definitely recommend @stephaniefoooo’s “What My Bones Know,” for all #fosterparents & many #adoptiveparents because #CPTSD is what’s coursing through our kids bones—the more we understand it, especially from a first-hand perspective, the more we can support our kids & ourselves💜
1st print journal featuring a #poem by my teen @RainbowRaven37! 🤩@EchoLiteraryMag’s a great pub for youth to submit! Proud of my kid for taking the risk to submit & sharing their words. They have so many important things to say—this is just the beginning.
