Sheikh Daheeye is a survivor of the Borama genocide on February 4th, 1991.

He witnessed that genocide and is saying that the SNM were killing 48 people per hour. Whole families were obliterated, and innocent lives were cut short.

And just as they are bringing now Dr. Abiy’s troops to occupy Zeila and Lughaya, the SNM brought in Mengistu Haile Mariam’s army to massacre the Borama and Dilla inhabitants in 1991.

It is unbelievable that the perpetrators of these crimes have the audacity to play the victim’s card. #Somalia #Awdal

A delegation from Awdal State of Somalia (ASS) is currently in Mogadishu to hold talks with the SFG, the Parliament, and the international community. The delegation has presented five recommendations aimed at liberating Awdal. We will share the five points soon,
