Calling consults is one of the more intimidating parts of medicine. After many times getting it wrong, here are some of my tips for how to make a consulting service not hate u: 1/n
These are just some things I have learned and try to apply after many failures. Figure out what works for you and ask other ppl their opinion.

5: have relevant data ready. Understand enough of what ur asking them so u can have data handy. Calling cards cause pt had chest pain? What work up did u do before calling them? Do they have a recent echo? Have that info ready
