@HLTCO You can choose to interpret this negatively. But he’s actually standing up for the current players and staff. Saying that despite no mavericks, we’re comfortably safe. It’s a clunky way of making the point but not malicious
@ThePalaceWay I don’t get the over hyping of Canvot. He’s a good prospect and has looked solid enough so far, while making quite a few mistakes. Decent prospect for sure but no need to get carried away
@shave_stuart@BillPepperShack That’s under a point per game Stuart. And given we normally average over a point per game for our seasons in the Prem, it shows under performance compared to our average. Backing up Bill’s point that we start slowly - which could be due to leaving it late to get a settled squad
@Clapham_Grand We’re selling a starting CB to improve a league rival just to offer a better contract to another CB who’ll want to leave next summer anyway. Not sure how that’s so great
@brucemillington@HLTCO But this implies all the manager is responsible for is picking team and subs, rather than patterns of play, adapting tactically etc. We had 22% possession against a poor Chelsea side. They were getting increasing time and space on the ball to pick passes and we didn’t adapt.
@ContactHaringey hi, trying to register that we’re moving out of the borough and get final council tax bill but website isn’t working and when we phone the automated service doesn’t let us speak to a human. Please help
@Brdbrnm Because the PM and Cabinet have lied to save his job. It’s a credibility and trust thing. And he put himself up for the press conference. He could have saved himself the ‘stocks’ by doing the decent thing and resigning when this broke.
