The first time President Tinubu ever talked about State police was in 1999 when he was Governor of Lagos.

In this clip from 2025 he says "I was bragging to them [British and American stakeholders] that definitely we will pass State police to improve security. They asked me if I'm confident and I said yes!"

27 years later state police is officially a thing in Nigeria.

People associate Tinubu with the motor park agberos as one of his sources of power. But did you know in 2005 when he was governor he tried to ban the road transport workers.

The ban was due to violence that was about to erupt between two factions of the road transport workers.

Despite his executive power as governor, Tinubu still couldn't get rid of them. The ban never materialized so the agberos continue to thrive till this day.

🚨🗣️: Yesterday, notorious bandit kingpin Bello Turji released another video, and this version reveals far more than the earlier clip.

Several of his top commanders were reportedly visible, including Sani-Dona, Dankane, Yellow, and Abdullah.

What is even more alarming is the array of weapons on display. Among them was what appeared to be an anti-aircraft gun a weapon designed to target aircraft. The fact that such a weapon was openly showcased should raise serious concerns.

During the meeting, Turji also appeared to claim responsibility for the recent Bargaja attack on military personnel in Sokoto State.

The question many Nigerians are asking remains the same:

If these men can gather openly, record videos, display heavy weapons, and circulate their messages to the world, where exactly are they hiding that the combined intelligence and military capabilities of Nigeria have not been able to locate and dismantle their network?

For a country battling insecurity on multiple fronts, that question deserves an answer.
