Our parallel sessions highlighted project work within the team to raise the profile of research in AWP 📋
Sessions focused on understanding the NHS evidence base, improving inclusivity of research in AWP and embedding research into health and care professionals within #AWP
One of the most moving parts of the day was our service user panel discussion on their experience of taking part in research 💬
A key theme was trust - they felt taking part in #research was a way of giving back to those who had aided their #recovery 🤝

Professor Dheeraj Rai discussed current #autism#research in #AWP, highlighting STRATA, ADEPT-2 and SoPrIA.
The @BristolStrata study team then took the stage discussing the motivations and barriers for autistic adults taking part in Randomised Control Trials (RCTs).
