I just experienced FFVI for the first time.

I try to put emotion in every game without VOs when reading through them. I feel like I still have a lot to learn, and I want to improve. It was fun being just a little unhinged for awhile. RIP my sleeping family. 😅

@FrstG0xd @FF_XIV_EN The armor in the pictures is FF14 adaptations of earlier FFs. They’re classic FF looks from the era of FF that was written at the same time as hair bands. It’s like experiencing the opening of a time capsule of you played the other games.

@ohgoditsranor Never had an issue clearing with his videos. I like that he teaches the mechanic as well as how to clear it. It makes it easier to adjust to other strats if I need to.

The only losers in the strat argument are the people that make PFs to complain about strats they don’t like.

@taysa_ffxiv @FF_XIV_EN There was a breach that made it possible for people to obtain data they shouldn’t have. They fixed the breach but it affected the blacklist. They’re letting you know the blacklist will be affected.

@SquareEnix Some of my friends have left the game and they’ve questioned why I stay and what motivates me. It’s this. It’s comfort. It’s a whole world of things to do and adventures to have and stories to live through. I don’t play for them. I play for me. This is my space. My world.

@siouxrunner15 @FF_XIV_EN They probably won’t nerf it, but after 7.2 drops the marketboard armor will be stronger than the current BIS iLvl. That means that everyone in the raids will be far better geared than most of those parties typically are now. Powercreep will nerf it.

@PlayStation Veilguard is narratively the worst game BioWare has ever put their name on. It lacks depth, direction, are the ability to tell a story organically. You’re just fed the lines that get you from point A to B. Beautiful game that lacks a soul.

@Geeking4Gamin @PlayStation If you do, play Kawami 1 and 2 and then skip to 5. You’ll miss -some- story details but overall 3 and 4 are incredibly rough w/o nostalgia.

I just got into the Yakuza series last summer and played up to 5.

Alternatively, the Like a Dragon games feature a new main character.

@dragonage @XboxGamePass I completed it 100% and this is the game that convinced me not to buy whatever BioWare makes next.

Not because of woke reasons. The combat just gets stale. All the boss fights are fairly identical. The writing is shallow, and vehicular. This game lacks identity.

@NaelLeonhart @FF_XIV_EN The Chaotic AR gives 730 gear. Which is the same iLvl as the current savage tier. Anyone considering doing FRU has to complete the current savage tier to unlock it. Everyone in a FRU group is likely iLvl 730 on one or more jobs. I’m full BiS in two jobs.
