With Pride Month here, I want to say that as an Aroace person, I deeply hate how we are treated like abnormalities by the very queer community we belong to simply because we aren't as oppressed. Love it or hate it we don't conform to a heteronormative society which makes us queer

The most dangerous type of depression is the high-functioning kind, because absolutely nobody will save you if you still look good and show up to work.

Society only recognizes mental health struggles if your life is visibly falling apart. If you still dress well, pay your bills, and manage to smile when spoken to, people assume you are perfectly fine.
Meanwhile, you are completely empty inside. But because your suffering isn't inconveniencing anyone else's schedule, they don't care. They praise your "hustle" and "strength" while you are literally just surviving on pure autopilot.

The moment you finally crack, miss a deadline, or drop the ball, they don't offer grace or help. They just get angry that the reliable person they constantly use is suddenly "acting out of character."
You aren't a person to them; you are a utility. As long as you are producing results, they do not care if you are breaking down in private.

Mass Effect fans that talk shit about "Veilguard writers" are idiots showing their whole ass. Most of those writers worked on ME. The person who wrote Mordin also wrote Taash. Literally learn anything about your fanboy franchise.

Barbie please? Oppenheimer please?

[avary 💗 @kyoruyeye]

i know neither of them really say that but no fr this scene should be shown to the people who accuse kou of being a “red flag” when he’s simply just a broken and flawed teenage boy who needs support like everyone else <3

[avary 💗 @kyoruyeye]

yuki and tohru the blueprint for platonic m|f relationships— conveying the fact that you can love someone so unconditionally without it having to be in a romantic context <33 platonic soulmates do exists and they invented it

[avary 💗 @kyoruyeye]

the way sawako and kazehaya are in canon the type of gross clingy couple to be all cuddly and hold onto each other while waiting in line at an amusement park

[avary 💗 @kyoruyeye]

it especially makes me pissed off when people hate on tohru for being “too kind”when thats literally part of her trauma. her being overly kind and apologetic stems from her fear of abandonment,, because if she’s not overly nice and doesn’t gain others approval, they’ll leave her

[avary 💗 @kyoruyeye]

everyone pls go and read kaoru hana wa rin to saku for them and them alone 💕

[avary 💗 @kyoruyeye]

we need their dating era animated

[avary 💗 @kyoruyeye]

i think there should be a common rule that in romance animanga we get at least a few chapters/episodes of the couple dating and being all lovey dovey after they get together,, im tired of it ending right after they become a couple i just want dating era content pls

[avary 💗 @kyoruyeye]

okay but if ouran ever did get a reboot, they’d have to keep the original opening because i can’t imagine anything else
