@Thechoosen_01 @Mnyika_1 Leave alone BV and poor hygiene.
Did you know that when you have kuchu on a day you've eaten fish, your se*en smells like fish too?
@UgandaAfrika@MoWT_Uganda The Ministry cannot convene the whole Uganda at once. That's why they invite REPRESENTATIVES of all stakeholders and affected persons, including the Public. You can rest assured that probably most of your concerns were aired out by those who were present...
@DoreenNasaasira Normalise watching someone's behaviour, reading the signs, and acting accordingly. Not begging, not abandoning yourself in the pursuit of someone.
4 months is too short a time for someone to be switching up suddenly like that. What dyou think chasing him will gain you?
@AgabaDavid15@Faizafabz Same!!!
I've seen stories where someone is from shopping; maybe they'd parked outside, and the moment they enter the car, a thief attacks. π
So immediately I enter, before I even sit well, I lock the doors π€£ especially in evening hours.
@dua_hub I totally agree with you on these points π―
However, we also need to agree; A husband SHOULDN'T give his wife chaos, confusion, strife, abuse and violence; while expecting peace and respect in return π ββοΈπ«
Both partners do have a role to play in tbe success of a marriage/home.
@UG_confesses This is very good information. Thank you!
I also think the same...CCTV can capture the culprit's face, but will they ever be found? π€·ββοΈ All you'll have is evidence that you've been robbed, but not your stolen property, or the culprit apprehended.
I do security assessments for different kinds of buildings. And i know right now you're all on the CCTV camera bandwagon but in this country, it is utterly useless. And the ones that you are getting are the wrong ones.
CCTVs only work in cities, countries, where there's an established network of surveillance. Not only do i grab footage from you, but i can also go to the neighbor's, get their ring doorbell footage too. Go to the police and then road council, grab traffic/road footage too. Eventually piecing everything together to track those people.
But you having CCTV on your facility, fence, gate does nothing. End of the day you're online, on twitter, asking people to identify a person they'll never know. But that person is already gone. Maybe in a different district by then.
My advice, for this particular country, for your average little business or home, INVEST IN ALARM SYSTEMS more than on CCTV. Hard for perpetrators to keep climbing up your fence or smashing in your door when there's a loud wailing noise that is waking everybody up. And with CCTV people now know to wear masks. Alarms give zero fucks about masks. They are a very effective immediate deterrent.
My little list for everyone reading this. Look into:
Magnetic door contact alarms. Good for when someone tries to force open a door. Some even have a plate where you can rest a padlock. Soon as that padlock loses contact with the plate, alarm. Some even have shock & vibration sensors.
Outdoor wall/fence motion sensor alarms. Pretty straightforward. They are triggered by motion, and lately they are so good they can differentiate between a person versus a dog, cat, bird that might just be perching on your fence or walking around your property so they don't sound the alarm unless its a person.
If you are to do CCTV, there's CCTV systems that combine both surveillance and alarm. Get those. Not these things you people are using. They are very ineffective post-crime. 90% of the people you're recording you'll never find.
